This is a plain-language summary written for this app, not a document drafted or reviewed by a lawyer. If you're running Potipha for real users, have it reviewed before relying on it. Last updated: October 12, 2026.
This policy applies to Potipha ("we," "us," "the app"), reachable at https://potipha.com/potipha_fresh1, including our Android app. By using Potipha, you agree to how we collect and use information as described here.
When you create an account, we collect your name, username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text). You may optionally add a profile location, birthdate, and profile photo. Anything you post - text, photos, videos, comments, live stream broadcasts, and direct messages - is stored so the app can show it to you and, depending on your settings and the feature, to other users.
If you send a gift, boost a post, or receive a payout, that payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number - Stripe handles that directly. We do keep a record that a payment happened (amount, date, what it was for) so we can show your gift/boost/earnings history in the app. Payout details you provide (such as bank or PayPal information) are used only to send you money you've earned.
We send account-related emails only: confirming your email address when you register, and password reset links if you request one. These are sent through our email delivery provider. We don't sell your email address or send marketing email through this system today.
Like most websites and apps, we automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed) to keep the app secure, diagnose problems, and understand overall usage. We use cookies/sessions only to keep you logged in and remember your preferences - not for third-party advertising.
We use the information above to: run your account and let you use the app's features (posting, following, messaging, live streaming, gifting); process payments and payouts; send account-related email; keep the platform secure and enforce our Terms & Conditions; and improve the app over time.
We don't sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the app work - currently Stripe (payments and payouts) and our email delivery provider (account emails) - and only the information each one needs to do that job. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Remember that posts, comments, profile info, and live streams may be visible to other users of the app depending on the feature - that's separate from the account-level data covered above, and is controlled by what you choose to post and any privacy settings the app offers.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we'll process that request.
Potipha is not directed at children, and you must be old enough to legally use this service in your country to create an account (see our Terms & Conditions). We do not knowingly collect information from children under the applicable age in their country.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information (such as hashing passwords and using HTTPS), but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
We may update this policy over time as the app changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
